MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />MAY 10, 2017 <br />Keis introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOL UTION NO. 2017-5-78 —APPROVING SUPPLEMENTAL <br />AGREEMENT #2 BETWEEN MNDOT, CITY OF LITTLE CANADA <br />AND SUB URBANAUTO BODY, INC. FOR THE INSTALLATION <br />OFACRYLIC PANELS ON THE SOUND WALL TO BE <br />CONSTR UCTED ON I -35E IN FRONT OF SUB URBANA UTO <br />BODY, INC. <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Fischer. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />100% OF OWNERS <br />The City Administrator stated that this is the business property where the <br />PETITION FOR <br />City is going to run a storm sewer through in order to help with drainage <br />EXTENSION OF <br />issues in the industrial park. He explained that the owner has agreed to <br />CITY STORM <br />pay for 50% of the cost of this portion of the improvement, and will grant <br />SEWER AT 3173 <br />a public drainage and utility easement over this storm sewer line. <br />SPRUCE STREET <br />(RYAN <br />Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />INDUSTRIAL <br />PARK — OWNER <br />RESOL UTION NO. 2017-5-79 — ACCEPTING THE PETITION FROM <br />JOHN <br />THE OWNER OF 3173 SPRUCE STREET FOR THE EXTENSION <br />KREBSBACH) <br />OF CITY S TORM SE WER AL ONG THE SO UTH PR OPER TY LINE <br />OF 3173 SPR UCE STREET FOR APPROXIMATELY 200 FEET, AND <br />ASSESSING 50 % OF THE ENTIRE COST OF THIS PORTION OF <br />THE IMPROVEMENT AGAINST THE PROPERTY. <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by McGraw <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />RESOLUTION The City Administrator stated that the League of Minnesota Cities has <br />SUPPORTING been encouraging cities to pass a resolution supporting local control in <br />LOCAL response to the large number of bills advancing in the House and Senate <br />CONTROLS that interfere with local decision-making authority in several policy areas. <br />He noted that Staff will forward the resolution to our local delegates. <br />McGraw introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2017-5-80 —ADOPTING A RESOLUTION <br />SUPPORTING LOCAL DECISION-MAKING AUTHORITY <br />al <br />
