The 2030 Little Canada Comprehensive Plan provides a base for the City’s housing profile. This plan will need to be updated to identify current housing information pertaining to residential densities, housing types, and housing affordability. E. Transportation Profile. The transportation inventory represents the City’s base transportation information. This information may be available through the City Engineer. The Metropolitan Council is requesting updated information on the following items: Roads: • Existing and Forecasted 2040 Traffic Flows • Traffic Analysis Zones/Population, Households and Forecasts must be allocated to each TAZ • Map Existing Road and Highway System Identifying Number of Travel Lanes • Identification of Traffic Capacity or Safety Issues • Functional Classification System Bike and Pedestrian: • Map Showing Local On and Off Street Bikeways, Sidewalks and Trails • Map Showing Integration of Regional Trails and Park Facilities with City Sidewalks and Trail System Transit • Illustration of All Existing and Planned Transit Corridors • All Existing Park and Ride Corridors • Existing or Planned Regional Transit Passenger Facilities Aviation: • Proximity to Nearest Airport • Height and Safety Zoning Much of this information will remain unchanged from the current Comprehensive Plan. Traffic forecasts will need to be updated to reflect proposed land uses in targeted redevelopment areas. F. Water Resources Management. The following Inventory information must be provided related to Little Canada’s Water Resource Management: Sanitary Sewer: • Sanitary Sewer System Map • Existing and Projected Sanitary Sewer Volumes
