MINUTES CITY COUNCIL MAY 24, 2017 acceptable, but he wants to check the types of plants to make sure they are appropriate. He stated that the PUD required that the side facing Rice Street have more landscaping and better building materials and architecture to improve the aesthetics. He noted that the City Engineer submitted a memo stating that the engineering issues have now been addressed. Eli Rupnow, AMI Engineers, stated he had met with the City Engineer to address the issues that he had. The City Planner stated that they have complied with everything that was asked of them, and recommends approval of the preliminary and final plats for Winter Estates. The City Administrator stated that the development will be subject to a development agreement that will be drafted and brought to the Council after all of the details are worked out. Upon motion by Montour, seconded by Torkelson, the public hearing was closed. Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTIONNO. 2017-5-89 —APPROVE THE PRELIMINARY AND FINAL PLATS FOR WINTER ESTATES AT 2736 & 2744 RICE STREET, WITH THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE CITY PLANNER, CITYENGINEER, PLANNING COMMISSIONAND FIRE MARSHAL The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Fischer. Ayes (4). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. CONSENT Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: AGENDA RESOLUTION NO. 2017-5-90 —APPROVING THE CONSENT AGENDA WHICH CONTAINS THE FOLLOWING: *APPROVAL OF THE VOUCHERS, *APPROVAL THE RENEWAL OF LIQUOR AND TOBACCO LICENSES FOR JULY 1, 2017 — JUNE 30, 2018 *APPROVAL OFA NEW LIQUOR LICENSE FOR NEW OWNER OF EL SOMBRERO MEXICAN RES TA URANT FOR JULY 1, 2017 — JUNE 30, 2018 The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Torkelson.
