MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />MARCH 27, 2002 <br />*AMEND THE PROPOSED ORDINANCE TO CLARIFY THAT ONCE <br />BUS BENCH LOCATIONS ARE ALLOCATED TO A PARTICULAR <br />COMPANY, THOSE ALLOCATIONS CONTINUE AS LONG AS THE <br />COMPANY RENEWS ITS LICENSE WITH THE CITY; <br />*AMEND THE PROPOSED ORDINANCE TO ALLOW THE CITY TO <br />REQUIRE REMOVAL OF A PRIVATE BENCHAT ANY TIME THAT <br />THE CITY DECIDES TO REPLACE THAT PARTICULAR BENCH WITH <br />A CITY-OWNED BENCH <br />The Foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, LaValle, Montour, Anderson, Fahey. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />CUP & Council noted that Herman and Bob Buetow have requested that the Council <br />ARCHITECTURALtable action on their application for CUP and Architectural Review until the <br />REVIEW - Apri124°i Council meeting to give them time to gather additional information. <br />3104 EDGERTON <br />STREET - Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />BUETOW <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2002-3-69 -TABLING ACTION ON THE BEUTOW <br />APPLICATION FOR CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR OUTDOOR <br />STORAGE AND ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW FOR THEIR PROPERTY <br />AT 3104 EDCERTON STREET UNTIL THE APRIL 24, 2002 REGULAR <br />COUNCIL MEETING <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. <br />Ayes (5) Fahey, Montour, Scalze, LaValle, Anderson. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />PUD PERMIT Mayor Fahey opened the Public Hearing to consider the application for <br />& a Planned Unit Development Permit to develop 35 Lmits of affordable <br />ARCHITECTURAL housing for senior citizens as well as Architectural Review for the Garden <br />REVIEW - Terrace Senior Housing as requested by Common Bond. It was noted that <br />COMMON BOND the Planning Commission reconunended approval. <br />Fahey asked if it would be possible to put a pitched roof on the building. <br />Doug Mayo, Common Bond, reported that they have had a lot of discussion <br />relative to the roof. He noted that there is a flat roof on the existing building, <br />and the proposed addition of 35 additional units plus commons areas, is <br />proposed to have a flat roof as well. Initially the plans had been for a pitched <br />roof on both the existing and new building. However, there are no funds for a <br />12 <br />
