MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />MARCH 27, 2002 <br />SMALLER ACCESSORY GARAGE, AND IT IS THE POSITION OF THE <br />COUNCIL THAT THE SMALLER GARAGE WOULD FIT THE <br />CHARACTER OF THE NEIGHBORHOOD <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Fahey. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, Fahey, Montour, Anderson, LaValle. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />Montour pointed out to Mr. and Mrs. Mentes that the Council's approval of the <br />Conditional Use Permit that was made last fall would still apply and would <br />allow them to construct an accessory garage under the conditions that were <br />imposed in that action. <br />ZONING CODE The City Administrator reported that Carl Johnson, Drywall Supply, has <br />AMENDMENT - requested that the Council table action on the B-W Zoning District <br />BW DISTRICT amendment as he has not had time to gather additional soils inforn~ation. The <br />City Administrator also indicated that it maybe possible for the City to <br />designate the Knox property as a TIF District that would allow the use of TIF <br />funds to assist in soils corrections. <br />The Administrator further noted that the moratorium on the B-W areas will <br />expire on April 10°i. Therefore, if action is tabled on the Zoning Code <br />amendment, the Council may want to extend the moratorium. <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOL UTION NO.2002-3-65 -TABLING ACTION ON THE PROPOSED <br />AMENDMENT TO THE B-W ZONING DISTRICT UNTIL THE APRIL <br />24, 2002 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING AND INSTRUCTING THE <br />CITYADMINISTRATOR TO REPORT ON THE POSSIBLE <br />DESIGNATION OF THE KNOX PROPERTY AS A TIF DISTRICT <br />WHICH WOULD ALLOW FOR THE UTILIZATION OF TIF FUNDS <br />FOR SOILS CORRECTIONS <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Scalze, Montour, Fahey, Anderson. <br />Nays (0).
