MINUTES CITY COUNCIL SEPTEMBER 13, 2017 Montour stated that he prefers to use option four, and add the condition that a 2:00am license would not be allowed for pool halls. There was Council consensus for staff to draft a code amendment based on option four in the staff report, along with a reduced liquor license fee for pool halls since they can only sell malt liquor. DECLARE COSTS, The City Clerk stated that the street projects are almost complete and staff ORDER is recommending that the Council declare costs, order the assessment roles ASSESSMENT and call for the assessment hearings. She noted that staff has two dates in ROLES & CALL October for the Council to consider for the hearings. There was Council FOR ASSESSMENT consensus to call the assessment hearings on Tuesday, October 17 HEARINGS FOR beginning at 5:45pm. 2016 RYAN INDUSTRIAL PARK Keis introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: IMPROVEMENTS AND 2017 STREET RESOL UTION 2017-9-158 — APPROVING RESOL UTIONS IMPROVEMENTS DECLARING COSTS TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING THE PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENTS FOR IMPROVEMENT NO. 2016-04, IMPROVEMENT NO. 2017-01, IMPROVEMENT NO. 2017-02 AND IMPROVEMENT NO. 2017-03 The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Fischer. Aye (5). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION 2017-9-154 — APPROVING A RESOLUTION FOR A HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENTS FOR RYAN INDUSTRIAL PARK, IMPROVEMENT NO. 2016-04 ON OCTOBER 17, 2017AT 5:45PM. The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. Aye (5). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted.
