MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />OCTOBER 25, 2017 <br />compliance or they will lose the extension, and also require that they <br />remain in compliance in order to keep the extension. <br />Keis introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOL UTIONNO. 2017-10-200 APPROVING AN EXTENSION <br />UNTIL MAY], 2018 WITH THE UNDERSTANDING THAT <br />PRECISION LANDSCAPE & TREE HAS UNTIL DECEMBER 31, <br />2017 TO FIND OUTDOOR STORA GE ARRANGEMENTS IN ORDER <br />TO GET THE PROPER TYAT 50 SOUTH OWASSO BOULEVARD <br />INTO CODE COMPLIANCE, AND THE PROPERTY MUST REMAIN <br />IN COMPLIANCE OR THE EXTENSION WILL BE REVOKED. <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />DECLARE A <br />The City Clerk stated that Rose Chu has been a Parks & Recreation <br />VACANCY ON <br />Commissioner since May 2016, but has missed four meetings in 2017. <br />THE PARKS & <br />She explained that per the City Code, if a Commissioner misses four <br />RECREATION <br />meetings in a calendar year, the position has been deemed vacated. She <br />COMMISSION <br />explained that the Parks & Recreation/Community Services Manager <br />talked to Ms. Chu, and she has submitted a letter to the Council requesting <br />to be reappointed to the Parks & Recreation Commission. It was noted <br />that she always provided advanced notice of her absences, participated in <br />activities outside of the normal meetings, and that the Commission had <br />moved some meeting dates that made her attendance difficult. <br />Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOL UTION NO. 2017-10-201 NOTING THAT A VACANCY HAS <br />OCCURRED ON THE PARKS & RECREATION COMMISSION DUE <br />TO ROSE CHU HAVING 4 ABSENCES IN 2017, AND <br />REAPPOINTING ROSE CHU TO THE PARKS & RECREATION <br />COMMISSION FOR THE REMAINDER OF HER EXISTING TERM <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Keis. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />APPROVE The City Clerk stated that St. John's Church has applied for a temporary <br />TEMPORARY liquor license for their annual Men's Club Turkey Bingo event on <br />LIQUOR LICENSE November 19, 2017.
