MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />MAY 7, 2002 <br />2002 Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />LMI'ROVGMI/N'TS <br />RESOI_ UT]ON NO. 2002-S-I09 - APPROV/NG PLANS & <br />SPECIFICATIONSAND AUTHORIZING THE ADVERTISEMENT FOR <br />l3/DS FOR THE I'OL/.OWING IMPROVEMEN%S: <br />STARK STREET (DEMONT TO COUNTY ROAD C); <br />.S'Ea"!'ANT AVENUE; <br />RYAN DRIVE; <br />MARKET PLACE DRIVE <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Scalze, Anderson, Montour, Fahey. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />'T'he City Administrator pointed out that due to delays, the advertisement for <br />bids is later than would be ideal. Therefore, the bid package will be structw~ed <br />to include alternates so in the event the bids are high, work that must be <br />completed this year can be done, and the bids for other work will be rejected <br />and rebid at a later date. <br />LaValle pointed out that there is a standing water problem behind the Market <br />Place. The Public Worl<s Director indicated thaC will clean the catch basin in <br />the area and also inform the owners of the Market Place of the need to correct <br />this matter. <br />MONTANARI The City Administrator presented a proposed development agreement for <br />HOMES Montanan Homes' Edgewater Off ce Park project. He indicated that the <br />DI,V~LOPM>iNT developer is planning to close on his financing tomorrow and the bank is <br />AGREEM>NT requiring that the development agreement be in place prior to the closing. The <br />Administrator pointed out that the development agreement is subject to <br />preliminary and final plat approval. It also contains the standard provisions <br />used by the City in these types of agreements.
