MINUTES <br />CI'T'Y COUNCIL <br />MAY 22, 2002 <br />CALL TOR <br />W012KS110P - <br />SHERMAN <br />ASSOCIATES <br />Edgerton Street was at citable speeds. The Administrator also indicated that <br />he has requested the Sheriff's Department to increase traffic enforcement on <br />Edgerton Street. Again, the Administrator reported that requesting the County <br />to reduce the speed limit on Edgerton Street will likely not be successful. <br />Weisman reviewed the Sheriff's Departments report and noted the number of <br />cars traveling faster than 40 miles per how'. Fahey again indicated that this is <br />an enforcement issue, and that the Sheriff's Department has been requested to <br />increase Craffic enforcement on Edgerton Street. Fahey indicated that he did <br />not favor the installation of stop signs every two blocks along Edgerton Street. <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />CANADA ROAD AREA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2002-5-121 - CA/././NG FOR A WORKSHOP FUR <br />WGDNESUAY, ./UNL' 12, 2002 AT 6:00 P. RICE .STREET/] ITTL B <br />"I'he foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Fahey. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, Fahey, Montour, LaValle, Anderson. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />ADULT USE The City Planner reviewed his report regarding adult use businesses and <br />BUSINESS their regulation under the City's Zoning Ordinance. The Planner <br />LICENSE recommended no changes in the 'Coning Ordinance relative to this use. The <br />City Administrator noted that the next issue to consider is the adult use license <br />fee. Council reviewed a survey of fees charged by surrounding cities. <br />Mr. Montow introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RCNOI_UT/ON NO. 2(102-i-122 - /NCREASING TFIE ADULT USE <br />/3USINES.S /./C`EN.SE FFE TO AN ANNUM. Resolution declared adopted. <br />104 .EAST The Council reviewed stafT's recommendation relative to the Vadnais <br />LITTI...E Fleights Historical Society's interest in 104 East Little Canada Road given <br />CANADA ROAD that this was the former Vadnais Heights school building. <br />
