MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />SEPTEMBER 25, 2002 <br />The City Administrator suggested that the festival-type event that Mr. <br />Linn is requesting could be addressed under the outdoor sales and displays <br />section of the ordinance. He agreed that staff should look at the temporary <br />sign ordinance, and suggested that staff also review and make <br />recommendations relative to the outdoor sales and display ordinance as <br />well. Fahey suggested that the staffbring back a recommendation some <br />time in November. <br />Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOI. UTION NO. 2002-9-219 -DIRECTING CITY STAFF TO <br />RESEARCH THE ISSUE OF TEMPORARY SIGNAGE FOR MULTI- <br />TENANT BUILDINGS AS WEL I. AS THE ISSUE OF OUTDOOR <br />SAL ES AND DISPLAYS AND PRESENT A RECOMMENDATION TO <br />THE COUNCIL IN NOVEMBER <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Anderson. <br />Ayes (3) Fahey, Anderson, Montour. <br />Nays (2) Scalze, LaValle. <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />MARKET The City Administrator pointed out that as part of the subdivision approval <br />PLACE for the Snyders Store at the Market Place Shopping Center, the property <br />POND owners agreed to donate land to the City to facilitate a new storm water <br />DONATION retention pond. The property owners have submitted a letter to the City to <br />that effect, however, the City Administrator recommended that the matter <br />be addressed in an agreement document. <br />Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOI. UTION NO. 2002-9-220 -INSTRUCTING THE CITY <br />ATTORNEY TO DRAFT AN AGREEMENT 73ETWEEN THE <br />OWNERb` OF THE MARKET PLACE SHOPPING CENTER AND <br />THE CITY RELATIVE TO THEIR DEDICATION OF I AND FOR A <br />b'TORM WATER RETENTION POND, AND AUTHORIZING: THE <br />MAYOR AND CITYADMINISTRATOR TO EXECUTE THE <br />AGREEMENT ON 13EHA7 F OF THE CITY <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Fahey, LaValle, Montour, Scalze, Anderson. <br />Nays (0).
