MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />NOVEMBER 13, 2002 <br />CONSENT Mr. Anderson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />AGENDA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2002-11-261- REMOVING ITEM #8, SETT? EMENT FOR <br />IRRIGATION.SY.STEMAND PARKING LOT.SEALCOATING, FROM THE <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (3) Anderson, Scalze, Montour. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />Mr. Anderson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RE.40L UTION NO. 2002-I1-262 -APPROVING THE CONSENT AGENDA <br />WHICH CONTAINS THE FOl7 OWING: <br />*APPROVING THE RENEWAL OF THE 73INC0 HALT I ICENSE FOR THE <br />LITTLE CANADA I3ING0 HALL FOR THE LICENSE PERIOD FE73RUARY I, <br />2003 THROUGH,IANUARY3I, 2005; <br />*APPROVING THE RENEWAL OF THE ANIMAL. CONTROL. CONTRACT <br />FOR 2003 AND AUTHORIZING THE CLTYADMINISTRATOR TO EXECUTE <br />THE CONTRACT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY; <br />*APPROVING THE CERTIFICATION OF DELINQUENT UTILITYAND <br />REFUSE 73ILLS AS RECOMMENDED 73Y CITY STAFF; <br />*APPROVAI. OF THE VOUCHERS <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. <br />Ayes (3) Anderson, Montour, Scalze. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />SETTLEMENT Anderson questioned the process for negotiation of a settlement for repair <br />FOR work on the irrigation system and parking lot at the Thunder Bay Plaza and <br />IRRIGATION Round Lake Mall shopping centers. The City Administrator reported that <br />SYSTEM & the City Engineer and the Public Works Director have been working on this <br />PARKING LOT settlement, and noted that the cost for the repair work is based on a "not to <br />SEALCOATING - exceed" basis. The Administrator indicated that while the sealcoating issue <br />THUNDER was unique, repair of damage to the irrigation system at the shopping centers <br />BAY PLAZA as a result of the Little Canada Road improvement was the City's responsibility. <br />& ROUND The Administrator pointed out that while the City Engineer and Public Works <br />LAKE MALL Director are more familiar with the damage to the parking lot that is being claimed by <br /> the propei~Cy owner, it is his understanding that the claims is that traffic was detouring <br />13 <br />
