MINUTES CITY COUNCIL NOVEMBER 20, 2002 REVIEW - the Planning Commission recommended approval subject to MARKET PLACE compliance with the recommendations of the City Planner as SIGN outlined in his November 12, 2002 report, subject to architectural elements added to the sign to match the Snyders pylon sign, and subject to an upgrade of the sign panels to meet Code, with all improvements to be completed by April 30, 2003. Anderson asked if the owners of the Market Place Shopping Center were agreeable to upgrading the sign panels to meet Code as they are replaced. Mark Hotzler, owner of the shopping center, replied that they were agreeable. There was no one present from the general public wishing to comment on this matter. Upon motion by Montour, seconded by Fahey, the public hearing was closed. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOI. UTION NO. 2002-II-272 -APPROVING THE PUD PERMIT AND ARCHITECTURAL. REVIEW FOR RELOCATION OF TILE MARKET PLACE SHOPPING CENTER PYL ON SIGN SU73.IECT TO COMPLIANCE WITH THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE CITY PLANNER AND THE PLANNING COMMISSION The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Fahey. Ayes (4) Scalze, Fahey, Montour, Anderson. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. PUD PERMIT - Fahey opened the Public Hearing to consider a PUD Permit 2900 RICE to locate aretail/distribution operation in the Market Place STREET - Shopping Center as requested by Taste of Scandinavia. It was TASTE OF noted that the Planning Commission recommended approval of SCANDINAVIA the request subject to compliance with the recommendations of the City Planner and subject to the north area of the building being cleaned up. Brad McNaught, Taste of Scandinavia, reported that the bakery operation will be 90% bakery and 10% retail area. The retail operation will sell overrun bakery goods, day old goods, and frozen foods.
