MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />NOVEMBER 14, 2018 <br />Ramsey County owned dome with indoor turf in Vadnais Heights collapsed <br />in April. She appreciates the feedback and they are looking at the options <br />and assessing the future of the site. <br />Torkelson stated that the City and the County would like to partner on <br />improving Rice Street and asked if there is anything that can be done for <br />now to help pedestrians on Rice Street. <br />CONSENT Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />AGENDA <br />RESOL UTION NO. 2018-11-232 — APPROVING THE CONSENT <br />AGENDA WHICH CONTAINS THE FOLLOWING: <br />*APPROVAL OF THE VOUCHERS <br />*APPROVE ADDITIONS TO THE WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 28, <br />2018: DISCUSS NORTH SUBURBANACCESS PROFESSIONAL& <br />TECHNICAL SER VICES A GREEMENT & UPDATING CELL PHONE <br />POLICY <br />*APPROVE PARTIAL PAYMENT #3 TO HARDRIVES, INC. FOR 2018 <br />STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by McGraw. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />At this point in the meeting, the City Council temporarily <br />adjourned and reconvened as the Canvassing Board. <br />Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2018-11-233 — RECESSING THE CITY COUNCIL <br />MEETING AND CONVENING AS THE CANVASSING BOARD <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Keis. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution adopted. <br />CANVASS The City Clerk presented the Council with the November 6, 2016 State <br />NOVEMBER 6, 2018 General Election results. She noted that 3,249 residents voted on Election <br />GENERAL Day and an additional 1,465 residents voted before November 6, either by <br />ELECTION RESULTS Absentee Ballot or Early Voting. She stated that overall turnout was very <br />good for a mid-term election, and there continues to be an increase in the <br />amount of residents voting before the election.
