50 cubic yards or less ...................................... $15.00 <br />51 to 100 cubic yards ........................................ 22.50 <br />1The fee for a grading permit authorizing additional work to that <br />under a valid permit shall be the difference between the fee paid for the original permit <br />and the fee shown for the entire project. <br />101 to 1,000 cubic yards--$22.50 for the first 100 cubic yards, plus $9.00 for each additional 100 <br />cubic yards or fraction thereof. <br />1,001 to 10,000 cubic yards--$117.00 for the first 1,000 cubic yards, plus $9.00 for each <br />additional 1,000 cubic yards or fraction thereof. <br />10,001 to 100,000 cubic yards--$198.00 for the first 10,000 cubic yards, plus $40.50 for each <br />additional 10,000 cubic yards or fraction thereof. <br />100,001 cubic yards or more--$562.50 for the first 100,000 cubic yards, plus $22.50 for each <br />additional 10,000 cubic yards or fraction thereof. <br />Note: Actual expenses incurred by the City in excess of the permit fee, such as engineering <br />costs, etc., will be billed to the applicant. <br /> <br />Other Inspections and Fees: <br /> <br />1. Inspections outside of normal business hours - $30.00 per hour2. (minimum <br />charge--two hours) <br /> <br />2. Reinspection fees - $30.00 per hour2. <br /> <br />3. Inspections for which no fee is specifically indicated - $30.00 per hour2. <br />(minimum charge--1/2 hour) <br /> <br />1501.050. CONDITIONS OF PERMIT. The Council City Engineer, as a prerequisite to <br />the granting of a permit, or after a permit has been granted, may require the applicant to whom <br />such permit is issued, or the owner or user of the property on which the excavation is located to: <br /> <br />(a) properly fence the excavation or fill; <br />(b) slope the banks, and otherwise properly guard and keep the excavation in such <br />condition as not to be dangerous from caving or sliding banks; <br />(c) properly drain, fill in or level the excavation or fill, after it has been created, so as <br />to make the same safe and healthful as the Council City Engineer shall determine; <br />(d) keep the excavation or fill within the limits for which the particular permit is <br />granted; and <br />(e) remove excavated material from the excavation, away from the premises, upon <br />and along such highways, streets or other public ways as the Council City <br />Engineer shall order and direct.
