Resolution declared adopted.
BIDS FOR The City Administrator reviewed the Apri124`h letter from Hoisington
LITTLE CANADA Koegler recommending that the Bid Package A be awarded to Sunram
ROAD AMENITIESCorporation and Bid Package B be awarded to Minnesota Valley Landscape
for Little Canada Road amenities. He further reported that he had a message
from Hoisington Koegler late this afternoon questioning whether or not the
pavers meet the City's specifications. This information will need to be verified
prior to actual award of the low bid. The City Administrator further noted that
the low bids are substantially below the Engineer's estimates.
Scalze suggested that given that the bids on the pavers are so low, the City
reconsider the installation of some paver areas as apart of the Little Canada
Road/McMenemy Road parking lot project. The City Administrator suggested
that this would be looked at, and if advantageous from a price standpoint, the
work maybe able to be added as a change order to this project.
