MAY 31, 2000 AS REQUESTED 73Y FRATTALONE <br />PAVING; <br />*CAI LING FOR A VACATION HEARING FOR ALLEYWAYS AND <br />DAYAVENUE FOR WEDNESDAY, MARCH 22, 2000 AT 7:30 P.M.; <br />*CALLING FOR A WORKSHOP MEETING FOR WEDNESDAY, <br />MARCH X, 2000 AT 6:00 P.M. AT THE PU73LIC WORKS GARAGE <br />TO DISCUSS THE PUI37.IC WORKS GARAGE; <br />"CALL FOR A STRATEGIC PLANNING/GOAL. SETTING <br />WORKSHOP FOR WEDNESDAY, APRIL 5, 2000 AT 4:00 P.M. AT <br />THE CITY CENTER; <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (4) Morelan, Scalze, Pedersen, Fahey. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />PROPERTY Mayor Fahey opened the continuation of public hearing to consider the <br />DIVISION - request of Bill Richie for the division of his property located at 2966 <br />2966 LABORS LaBore Road. <br />ROAD - <br />WM. RICHIE The City Engineer presented a diagram prepared by the City Planner <br /> showing how the LaBore Road area might develop in the future. Ae noted <br /> the proposed new streets running parallel to LaBore Road as well as the <br /> access points for these roads. The Engineer noted that one of the access <br /> points goes through the property north of Mr. Richie's at 2970 LaBore <br /> Road. The Engineer felt the location of this access point was better than <br /> through the Richie property as it results in a shorter cul-de-sac length. <br />Fahey suggested that there should be no additional subdivisions allowed in <br />this area without the road improvement. Fahey indicated that he did not <br />want to landlock the development of any existing parcels. The Engineer <br />noted that the yellow area on the concept thoroughfare plan is a 100 foot <br />buffer area preserved at the edge of the wetland. <br />Scalze felt that the property at 2970 LaBore Road was narrow and asked if <br />there was enough room for an access road. She also noted that the concept <br />plan shows the potential for about 30 lots. <br />The Public Works Director also noted that the topography of the area <br />hinders the locations of access points.
