MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />APRIL 26, 2000 <br />OPEN T HE A7371.ITY OF THE COUNCIL TO RED DIRE <br />ADDITIONAL SECURITY ON AN AS NEEDED BASIS, .SUI3.IECT <br />TO THE POSTING OE CURFEW REG ULATIONS <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Fahey. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Fahey, Morelan, Scalze, Pedersen. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />CUP - Fahey opened the public hearing to consider a Conditional Use <br />3173 SPRUCE Permit for outdoor storage at 3173 Spruce Street, Jacobsen <br />STREET - Excavating. The Planning Commission has recommended approval <br />JACOBSEN of the Conditional Use Permit. <br />EXCAVATING <br />The Zoning Administrator reported that Jeff Jacobsen, the owner of the <br />business, has agreed to comply with all recommendations. The Zoning <br />Administrator pointed out that she is recommending an August ls` <br />deadline for the completion of paving, curbing, and striping. The property <br />shares a drive with the Valento property, and the two owners will <br />coordinate their efforts to get this woii< done. All other property issues <br />will have to be in conformance by June 30, 2000. The Zoning <br />Administrator further noted that there is storage occurring on the Water <br />Department property, and this storage will have to be removed. <br />The City Administrator pointed out the letter from the Board of Water <br />Commissioners regarding this storage. <br />Scalze noted the decorative rock and landscaping which has been <br />installed, and asked if there will be grass around this area. The Zoning <br />Administrator noted that there will be at lease five feet of sodded area <br />adjacent to the rock and plantings. <br />There was no one from the general public present wishing to comment on <br />Chis matter. <br />Upon motion be Morelan, seconded by Fahey, the public hearing was <br />closed. <br />Mr. Morelan introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2000-4-703 -APPROVING THE CONDITIONAL <br />USE PERMIT FOR OPEN AND OUTDOOR STORAGE OR <br />EXCAVATING E~ UIPMENT, .7013 SUPPLIES, AND REPAIRA73L E <br />VEHlCI_E.S` A %' 37 73 SPRUCE .S`TREET, .IACOI3.SEN EXCAVATING <br />
