MINUTES CITY COUNCIL APRIL 2G, 2000 Mr. Morelan introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOI, UTION NO. 20(10-4-104 -APPROVING THE CONDITIONAL. U.S`E PERMIT FOR OPBNAND OUTDOOR STORAGE OF ROOFING E~ UIPMENT AND MATERIALS INCLUDING FLAT73ED TRAILERS AS RED UESTED ]3Y MIKROT ROOFING AT 221-225 RYAN DRIVE.S~UI3.IECT TO COMPLIANCE WITH THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE PLANNING, COMMISSION, AND SU13.IECT TO THE RELOCATION OF THE 130UNDARY LINE FENCE BEHIND THE SCREENING LANDSCAPE AREA The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. Ayes (5) Morelan, Scalze, Pedersen, Fahey, LaValle. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. RECESS At this point in the meeting, 9:00 p.m., the Council took a short recess. The meeting was reconvened at 9:10 p.m. CUP & Mayor Fahey opened the public hearing to consider a Conditional Use VARIANCE - Permit to allow open and outdoor storage as well as a Variance for the SO. OWASSO amount of outdoor storage on property located on South Owasso Blvd. BLVD. - as requested by Precision Tree. It was noted that the Planning PRECISION Cornmission has recommended approval of both the CUP and the TREE Variance. There was no one from the general public present wishing to comment on this matter. Upon motion by Fahey, seconded by LaValle, the public hearing was closed. Scalze noted that at the time Precision Tree purchased property on Country Drive they were told of the City's redevelopment efforts for the area and the fact that they may not be able to operate in this location for very long. Precision Tree indicated that at the time they purchased their property, the City indicated that in 10 to 15 years redevelopment would likely occur and they would have to relocate. Precision Tree indicated that they purchased the land in December of 1992. Therefore, the time line is much shorter than anticipated. 13
