MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />APRIL 2G, 2000 <br />Mr. Morelan introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOI, UTION NO. 20(10-4-104 -APPROVING THE CONDITIONAL. <br />U.S`E PERMIT FOR OPBNAND OUTDOOR STORAGE OF <br />ROOFING E~ UIPMENT AND MATERIALS INCLUDING FLAT73ED <br />TRAILERS AS RED UESTED ]3Y MIKROT ROOFING AT 221-225 <br />RYAN DRIVE.S~UI3.IECT TO COMPLIANCE WITH THE <br />RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE PLANNING, COMMISSION, AND <br />SU13.IECT TO THE RELOCATION OF THE 130UNDARY LINE <br />FENCE BEHIND THE SCREENING LANDSCAPE AREA <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) Morelan, Scalze, Pedersen, Fahey, LaValle. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />RECESS At this point in the meeting, 9:00 p.m., the Council took a short recess. <br />The meeting was reconvened at 9:10 p.m. <br />CUP & Mayor Fahey opened the public hearing to consider a Conditional Use <br />VARIANCE - Permit to allow open and outdoor storage as well as a Variance for the <br />SO. OWASSO amount of outdoor storage on property located on South Owasso Blvd. <br />BLVD. - as requested by Precision Tree. It was noted that the Planning <br />PRECISION Cornmission has recommended approval of both the CUP and the <br />TREE Variance. <br />There was no one from the general public present wishing to comment on <br />this matter. <br />Upon motion by Fahey, seconded by LaValle, the public hearing was <br />closed. <br />Scalze noted that at the time Precision Tree purchased property on <br />Country Drive they were told of the City's redevelopment efforts for the <br />area and the fact that they may not be able to operate in this location for <br />very long. <br />Precision Tree indicated that at the time they purchased their property, the <br />City indicated that in 10 to 15 years redevelopment would likely occur and <br />they would have to relocate. Precision Tree indicated that they purchased <br />the land in December of 1992. Therefore, the time line is much shorter <br />than anticipated. <br />13 <br />
