MINUTES
CITY COUNCIL
APRiL 26, 2000
City Planner. If the business is not relocated, code enforcement action
would betaken.
Bixby indicated that six months should be adequate time for him to
relocate his business.
There was no one present from the general public wishing to comment on
this matter.
Upon motion by Morelan, seconded by Scalze, the public hearing was
closed.
Mr. Morelan introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 2000-4-99 -APPROVING A SPECIAL. U.SE
PERMIT TO ALLOW A HOME OCCUPATION CON.SLSTING OF A
SATELLITE AND ANTENNA INSTALLATION/SERVICE/REPAIR
COMPANYAT 2622 .IACKSON STREET AS REQUESTED I3Y
SCOTT I3IXI3Y FOR A PERIOD OF TIME NOT TO EXCEED SIX
MONTHS (NOVEMBER 1, 2000) WITH NO OPPORTUNITY FOR
RENEWAL, OF THE PERM/T SUB.IECT TO COMPLIANCE WITH
TILE RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE CITY PLANNER AND THE
PLANNING COMMLS:SION
The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Pedersen.
Ayes (4) Morelan, Pedersen, Fahey, LaValle.
Nays (I) Scalze.
PROPERTY Mayor Fahey opened the continued Public Hearing regarding the division
DIVISION - of 3240 Twin Lake Road into three single-family lots as requested by
3240 TWIN Preferred Builders. Fahey noted that the Planning Commission has
LAKE ROAD - recommended approval of the property division..
MITCHELL
PROPERTY Morelan noted that the cul-de-sac easement at the end of Mitchell Trail is
proposed at a 45-foot radius while the standard is 50 feet. Morelan asked
wliy not the standard 50 feet.
The City Planner pointed out that initially concepts were reviewed to
subdivide this property into four and five lots. The proposal before the
Council is for three lots, all of which will access Twin Lake Road or Twin
Lake Trail and not Mitchell Trail Should the property ever be subdivided
again in the future and Mitchell Trail improved, it is likely that only two
lots would use Mitchell Trail for access. Therefore, it was felt that the
radius for the cul-de-sac would be adequate at 45 feet.
