MINUTES CITY COUNCIL JUNE 27, 2000 warranted. The Director indicated, however, That he would look at the site lines to see if some improvements could be made as well as whether additional signage was needed. Roycraft indicated that he spoke with a Public Works employee who indicated that they would him the bushes and trees al the intersection to improve visibility. Fahey suggested that perhaps larger stop signs may be a solution. Pedersen pointed out the all-way stop signs at Jackson Street and Lake Street and questioned the consistency of retaining an all-way stop at this intersection and not installing this signage at LaBore Road and Arcade Street. Scalze felt the situation was different since there was a pedestrian crossing on Jackson Street for access to Nadeau Park. Roycraft pointed out the numerous bicyclists and walkers on LaBore Road and Arcade Street. He indicated that this was a busy area and there should be appropriate traffic controls. Mr. Morelan introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOL UTION NO. 2000-6-155 -ACCEPTING THE PETITION FOR FOUR-WAYSTOP AT LAHORE ROAD AND ARCADE STREET AND DIRECTING THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR TO STUDY THE INTERSECTION AND DETERMINE THE APPROPRIATE SIGNACE NEEDED TO PROVIDE ADDITIONAL TRAFFIC CONTROLS The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. Ayes (4) Morelan, Scal-re, Pedersen, Fahey. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. CONSENT Mr. Morelan introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: AGF,NDA RESOLUTION NO. 2000-6-156 -APPROVING THE CONSENT AGENDA WHICH CONTAINS THE FOLLOWING: *CALLING FOR A WORKSHOP TO REVIEW THE 1999 AUDIT REPORT FOR WEDNESDAY, JULY 26, 2000 AT 6:45 P.M.;
