MINUTF,S <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JUNE 27, 2000 <br />*CALLING FOR A WORKSHOP WITH THE PARKS & <br />RECREATION COMMISSION TO DISCUSS COMPLETION OF <br />THE CITY'S TRAIL SYSTEM AND OTHER RELATED ISSUES FOR <br />WEDNESDAY, JULY 12, 2000 AT 6:00 P.M.; <br />*APPROVING ELECTRICAL WORK IN SPOONER PARKAS <br />RECOMMENDED BY THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR; <br />''APPROVING MISCELLANEOUS FENCE INSTALLATIONS AND <br />REPAIRS AS RECOMMENDED BY THE PUBLIC WORKS <br />DIRECTOR; <br />*APPROVING PAYREQUEST NO. 6 FOR 1999 STREET <br />IMPROVEMENTS AS RECOMMENDED BY THE PUBLIC WORKS <br />DIRECTOR; <br />*APPROVING THE VOUCHERS <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (4) Morelan, Scalze, Fahey, Pedersen. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />GOOSE The City Administrator reported that he has discussed the goose <br />CONTROL population with the management of Grand Pre' apartments as well as <br />CONTRACT St. Jude Medical, and there are more geese in these areas than indicated <br />in Dr. Cooper's report. Grand Pre' has indicated that they will let the City <br />know by tomorrow morning whether or not they will participate in the cost <br />of the program, and have given verbal indication that they will also pay <br />their share of the cost from previous years. St. Jude Medical has indicated <br />that they will participate. <br />Mr. Morelan introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2000-6-157-APPROVING THE GOOSE <br />CONTROL CONTRACT WITH THE UNIVERSITY OF MINNESOTA <br />AS RECOMMENDED BY THE CITYADMINISTRATOR AND <br />AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITYADMINISTRATOR TO <br />EXECUTE THE CONTRACT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Pedersen. <br />Ayes (4) Morelan, Pedersen, Scalze, Fahey. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />
