MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />OCTOBER 25, 2000 <br />RIGHT-OF-WAY PROVIDED THAT THE MONUMENT SIGN IS <br />PLACED WITHIN AN Ea'ISTING LSLAND WITHIN THE RIGHT- <br />OF-WAY AND CREATES NO ADDITIONAL. HAZARD TO TRAFFIC <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (4) Fahey, Scalze, Pedersen, LaValle. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2000-] 0-254 -APPROVING THE PLACEMENT <br />OF PITRINA PARK MONUMENT SIGNS WITHIN THE CENTER <br />ISLAND ONAI,LENAVENUESU73JECT TO COMPLIANCE WITH <br />THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF TILE CITY PLANNER AND <br />SU73JECT TO THE TOWNHOME ASSOCIATION ENTERING INTO <br />A LICENSE AGREEMENT FOR THE ,S`IGNS` WITH THE CITY OF <br />LITTI E CANADA <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Fahey. <br />Ayes (4) LaValle, Fahey, Pedersen, Scalze. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />CUP & Mayor Fahey opened the Public Hearing to consider an amendment to <br />AMENDMENT a Conditional Use Permit as well as an amendment to the Municipal <br />TO CITY Code extending the hours of operation for amusement centers. It was <br />CODE -EXTEND noted that Coliseum Billiards is requesting to extend their hours of <br />HOURS OF operation from Midnight to 2 a.m, Fahey pointed out that the Planning <br />OPERATION FOR Commission has recommended approval. <br />COLISEUM <br />BILLIARDS LaValle pointed out that the Sheriff's Department has noted that the <br /> business owner should be aware of the City's curfew ordinance. Mr. <br /> Melloy, owner of Coliseum Billiards, indicated that he would enforce the <br /> ordinance. <br />Scalze asked about calls for service at the Market Place Shopping Center, <br />where Coliseum Billiards is located. The Deputy Clerk noted that Lt. <br />Moore of the Sheriff's Department indicated that of the calls for service to <br />the shopping center, none were specific to Coliseum Billiards. <br />There was no one present from the general public wishing to comment on <br />this matter. <br />
