MINUTES <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />JANUARY 13, 2000 <br />The Park Street resident indicated that there are currently semis <br />driving into the Frattalone site on Park Street and was concerned <br />about additional semi traffic. The resident also commented that it <br />appears there are auto repair uses occurring at the Frattalone site <br />and it was her understanding that there were not allowed uses. <br />Tubbesing reported that his business does not have transports to <br />his site. <br />Montour recommended approval of the rezoning of 120 West <br />County Road C from B-3 District to B-4 District. <br />Motion seconded by Carson. <br />Motion carried 6 - 0. <br />Montour recommended approval of an amendment to Conditional <br />Use Permit for 120 West County Road C allowing the expansion <br />of the existing vehicle sales lot subject to compliance with the <br />recommendations of the City Planner, and subject to review and <br />approval of the Public Works Director of the landscape plan for the <br />property. <br />Motion seconded by Carson. <br />Motion carried 6 - 0. <br />REZONING, Mike St. Martin, Loucks & Associates, appeared before the <br />PROPERTY Commission requesting approval of a rezoning to B-4 District, <br />DIVISION, Property Division by metes and bounds description, Preliminary <br />PRELIMINARY Plat, Conditional Use Permit allowing additional signage on a <br />PLAT, CUP'S, multiple tenant business building, Conditional Use Permit allowing <br />AND VARIANCE- minor auto repair, and a Variance from the rear yard setback <br />RICE STREET - requirements for the site on Rice Street to be redeveloped by R. J. <br />R.J. MARCO Marco Construction. St. Martin described the property and the <br /> redevelopment plan for the site. St. Martin reported that the <br /> Goodyear portion of the building will have no outside service <br /> doors facing Rice Street. There will be two doors on the side and <br /> back of the building. St. Martin reported that the remaining retail <br /> space will likely be occupied by a car stereo store as well as <br /> another use. <br />St. Martin reported that the site will have two access points on <br />Rice Street, and approval has been received from MN DOT and the <br />14 <br />
