Regular Meeting -August 13, 1958 and identified as S.P. 6212-65 (36=118) Minnesota U°UG 092-1 (10); S.P. 7280-05 (35_390) Minnesota IG 035-2 (24) 116; S.P. 6280-03, 6280-04, 6280-07, 6280-10; 6280-15; 6280-16; 6280-18 (35.390) Minnesota Y 035-2 (9) 116, which, together with the Minnesota De- partment of Highways specifications for Highway Construction, dated July 1, 1947, and Supplement No. 1 to the Minnesota Department of Highways Specifications far Highway Construction, effective April 15, 1953, on file in the office of the Commissioner of Highways, constitute the specifications for said improvement of 'Fronk Highway Number 390, renumbered as Trunk Highway Number 35; and "WHEREAS, Copies of said plans and specifications as so marked, labeled, and identified axe also on Pile in the office o£ the Vil- lage Cleric; and "WHEREAS, the term 'said plans and specifications' as herein- after used in the body of this resolution shall be deemed and in- tended to mean, refer to, and incorporate the plans and specifica- tions as in the foregoing recitals particularly identified and des- cribed. "NOW, THEN, HE IT RESOLVED That said plans and specifications for the improvement o£ Trunk Highway Number 390 renumbered as Trunk Highway Number 35 within the limits of the Village of Little Canada be and hereby are approved. "BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That the elevations and grades as shown in said plans and specifications be and they are hereby approved and consent is hereby given to any and all changes in grade occasioned by the construction. of said Trunk Highway Number 390 renumbered as Trunk Highway Number 35 in accordance wi.h said plans and specifica- tions." Ayes - 5 Nays - 0 The resolution was adopted. Upon motion by Melancon, seconded by Vitale, the following resolution was submitted: "WHEREAS; The Village of Little Canada has approved the plans and specifications for the improvement of that part of Trunk High- way Number 118 renumbered as Trunk Highway Number 36 within the corporate limits of the Village of Little Canada from 0.4 Mi. E. of Rice St. to 0.65 mile E. of Rice St.; and "WHEREAS, In order to obtain Federal aid in the construction of said Trunk Highway Number 118 renumbered as Trunk Highway Number 36 the Bureau of Public Hoads requires the assurance that the Vil- lage of Little Canada will not suffer any encroachment of any nature whatsoever on the right of way of said Trunk Highway Number 118 renumbered as Trunk Highway Number 36 within the corporate limits of said Village of Little Canada; and "tYHEREAS, The Commissioner of Highways desires in the interest of public safety that all parking of vehicles on said trunk highway be parallel with the curb and at least 20 feet from any crosswalk. - 4 -
