Regular Meeting -August 13, 1958 <br />and identified as S.P. 6212-65 (36=118) Minnesota U°UG 092-1 (10); <br />S.P. 7280-05 (35_390) Minnesota IG 035-2 (24) 116; S.P. 6280-03, <br />6280-04, 6280-07, 6280-10; 6280-15; 6280-16; 6280-18 (35.390) <br />Minnesota Y 035-2 (9) 116, which, together with the Minnesota De- <br />partment of Highways specifications for Highway Construction, dated <br />July 1, 1947, and Supplement No. 1 to the Minnesota Department of <br />Highways Specifications far Highway Construction, effective April <br />15, 1953, on file in the office of the Commissioner of Highways, <br />constitute the specifications for said improvement of 'Fronk Highway <br />Number 390, renumbered as Trunk Highway Number 35; and <br />"WHEREAS, Copies of said plans and specifications as so marked, <br />labeled, and identified axe also on Pile in the office o£ the Vil- <br />lage Cleric; and <br />"WHEREAS, the term 'said plans and specifications' as herein- <br />after used in the body of this resolution shall be deemed and in- <br />tended to mean, refer to, and incorporate the plans and specifica- <br />tions as in the foregoing recitals particularly identified and des- <br />cribed. <br />"NOW, THEN, HE IT RESOLVED That said plans and specifications <br />for the improvement o£ Trunk Highway Number 390 renumbered as Trunk <br />Highway Number 35 within the limits of the Village of Little Canada <br />be and hereby are approved. <br />"BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That the elevations and grades as shown <br />in said plans and specifications be and they are hereby approved <br />and consent is hereby given to any and all changes in grade occasioned <br />by the construction. of said Trunk Highway Number 390 renumbered as <br />Trunk Highway Number 35 in accordance wi.h said plans and specifica- <br />tions." <br />Ayes - 5 Nays - 0 <br />The resolution was adopted. <br />Upon motion by Melancon, seconded by Vitale, the following resolution <br />was submitted: <br />"WHEREAS; The Village of Little Canada has approved the plans <br />and specifications for the improvement of that part of Trunk High- <br />way Number 118 renumbered as Trunk Highway Number 36 within the <br />corporate limits of the Village of Little Canada from 0.4 Mi. E. <br />of Rice St. to 0.65 mile E. of Rice St.; and <br />"WHEREAS, In order to obtain Federal aid in the construction <br />of said Trunk Highway Number 118 renumbered as Trunk Highway Number <br />36 the Bureau of Public Hoads requires the assurance that the Vil- <br />lage of Little Canada will not suffer any encroachment of any <br />nature whatsoever on the right of way of said Trunk Highway Number <br />118 renumbered as Trunk Highway Number 36 within the corporate <br />limits of said Village of Little Canada; and <br />"tYHEREAS, The Commissioner of Highways desires in the interest <br />of public safety that all parking of vehicles on said trunk highway <br />be parallel with the curb and at least 20 feet from any crosswalk. <br />- 4 - <br />
