living in an o].d house on that property. Ae wishes to build a nevr house but <br />he wanted Council's permission to live in the old house while he was building <br />the ne~v one. Since building codes and zoning laws .prohibit two dwelling houses <br />on a single building site, he wanted to enter an agreement vrith the Council that <br />he will remove the old house when the new one is ready for occupancy in order to <br />obtain a bu:i.lding permit. <br />Upon motion by Vitale, seconded by Coenen, it was, <br />RESOLVED, that Mr. Raymond Savaugeau be granted a building permit by <br />the Building Inspector vrhen he has presented to the Building Inspector a <br />written agreement prepared by the Village Attorney to the fact that the o7.d <br />house will be torn down when the ne~v one has been completed. <br />Ayes - 5 Nays - 0 <br />Mr. Londi.n, the Building Inspector, stated that he had been requested <br />by Mr. John Blomquist to advise the procedure for starting a dump on the property <br />which the Blomquist Company is platting, the plat for which was approved in this <br />meeting by Council action. <br />Upon motion by Spooner, seconded by Vitale, the Clerk was instructed. <br />to write a letter to Blomquist explaining the procedure, which vrould include a <br />hearing and notification of all surrounding property owners. <br />Ayes - 5 Nays - o <br />Trustee Spooner. asked the Council to refrain from accepting roads <br />in Wilson's Addition until they met with the Councils approval. based upon <br />the Engineer's conditions since he had received complaints from some of the <br />property owners to the effect that the roads were not being properly constructed <br />by Wilson and that erosion was causing a lot of dirt to £a11 on the roads. <br />Nir. Vitale then brought up the matter of the surface drainage in Wilson's Addi- <br />tion and stated that he and Mr. Jesperson, the Road Supervisor, had inspected <br />this ditch and concluded that it should be sodded or blacktopped before the <br />roads are accepted. <br />Upon motion by Spooner, seconded by Vitale, it was, <br />RESOLVED, That the Clerk notify Ivir. Wilson that the storm water <br />drainage ditches be properly treated so as to prevent erosion and that this <br />treatment could consist either of sodding or the application of a layer of <br />bituminous road material. <br />Ayes-5 Nays-0 <br />Upon motion by Vitale, seconded by Nielancon, it was <br />RESOLVED, that vouchers 1747 thru 1'x74 inclusive be paid as follows <br />174'7 State Treasurer Surplus Property Fund ........................$ 26.35 <br />1748 T.
