VIOLATIONS BY PROPERTY OWNERS: Issue - by acsriS cse• corml,leu <br />A. VIOLATIONS. The following actions by Property Owners or License <br />Holders are subject to civil penalties, constitute the basis for revocation of licenses, may <br />result in injunctive action by the City and constitute cause to terminate participation in <br />the STAR Program which is further defined in Section 3200.130 herein: <br />1. Leasing residential units without a License or units subject to license <br />revocation. <br />2. ~Ilolatloaa of the Cf~j's Pr®per•fy tYlainienance Code, ~- I~eceart ~ ase <br />3. Violation of the Uniform Building Code or Uniform Fire Code. <br />4. Commission of a felony related to the licensed activity by the Property <br />Owner or Manager. <br />5. Failure to take any action required by Section 3200.110 (B). <br />B. PENALTIES: <br />1. Revocation. Any violation of this Chapter may be grounds to revoke a <br />license. Any civil penalty, revocation or combination thereof under this <br />section does not preclude criminal prosecution under this ordinance or <br />Minnesota Statutes. All fines are cumulative and revocation periods will <br />run consecutively. Revocation of a license for a single family rental <br />dwelling ser~ ;a. ce~sert€i-t"arrarily remt~at ~l~rreilsrrt; shall revoke the rental <br />privileges for the unit at issue and not the entire structure. <br />2. Responsibility for Conduct. The Property Owner shall be responsible <br />for the conduct of its agents or employees while engaged in normal <br />business activities on the licensed premises. Any violation of this Chapter <br />shall be considered an act of the Property Owner or License Holder for <br />purposes of imposing an civil penalty or license revocation. If a license is <br />revoked, it is unlawful for the owner to permit new occupancy of the <br />vacant rental unit. <br />3. Penalty Grid.
