COVID-19 Preparedness Plan <br /> <br /> <br />Page 7 <br />Page 7 <br /> <br />Employee Guidance for COVID‐19 Related Situations <br /> <br /> <br />Emergency period is effective 3/25/2020 until 12/31/2020. At that point in time, the policy and its need will be <br />reevaluated. <br /> <br />These policies and emergency period timeframe are subject to change at the discretion of the City Manager. The <br />guidelines outlined below are subject to CDC recommendations and guidance. Should those recommendations or <br />guidelines change, please check the CDC website for up to date information. <br />Situation Are you feeling ill or <br />fall above thresholds <br />from THRESHOLD <br />CHART below <br />What should you do? <br />Employee, or member of <br />household has tested positive <br />for COVID-19 or been <br />diagnosed by a health care <br />provider. <br />Yes Stay Home – you will be paid using Federal Emergency Paid Sick <br />Leave (for up to 80 hours) and are eligible for City Emergency <br />Pandemic Leave. Follow CDC Quarantine guidelines. <br />Use the CDC Guidelines below to return to work. <br />No Stay Home – If you are able to work from home the <br />expectation is that you will work. You will be paid using <br />Federal Emergency Paid Sick Leave (for up to 80 hours) and are <br />eligible for City Emergency Pandemic Leave. Follow CDC <br />Quarantine guidelines. <br />Use the CDC Guidelines below to return to work. <br /> <br />Employee or member of <br />household is sick in your <br />home with any other illness. <br />Yes Stay Home – you will be required to use your <br />PTO/Sick/Vacation for illnesses not COVID-19 related. <br />Use the THRESHOLD CHART below to return to work. <br />No Connect with your Supervisor/Manager. Can you work from <br />home? If not, you have the option to come back to work and <br />continue using BEST PRACTICES BELOW.
