This assessment will review <br />current amenities, a complete inventory of existing site features, and recommendations of the most impactful areas of improvement. <br />Preferred Option <br />ISG will refine concepts and integrate feedback from the stakeholder meetings and <br />the project website into a preferred option for the three focus areas. The preferred <br />option will then be shared with the Parks Commission and the public for final input. <br />Once the community and Parks Commission have weighed in on the preferred <br />option, ISG will provide one comprehensive round of edits and share with City <br />Council for approval. <br />Cost Estimate <br />The final preferred option will include a preliminary opinion of probable for all <br />improvement recommendations. ISG will also provide a summary of ongoing <br />maintenance requirements that the City can use to ensure that park features are <br />long-lasting investments that are easily maintained. <br />Funding Opportunities <br />ISG will assist with identifying funding sources and opportunities and provide grant <br />writing services, if needed, to fully maximize the project budget and ensure Pioneer <br />Park master planning fully encompasses the needs of the community. <br />Concept Development <br />ISG will develop concepts for the three focus <br />components of Phase 1: <br />• Safety and accessibility <br />• Trail improvements and lighting <br />• Selection and locations for the <br />proposed playground and water feature <br />Stakeholder Meetings <br />Concepts will be shared with City staff during <br />two (2) Parks Commission meetings and one <br />(1) City Council meeting. <br />Project Website <br />Using an interactive project website like <br />Social Pinpoint or a similar platform, ISG <br />will solicit feedback on concepts specific to <br />playground, water feature, and trail lighting. <br />Going beyond the community survey that <br />focuses on the project itself, this tool results <br />in valuable subjective public feedback <br />platform. Strategic graphic design elements <br />are used to draw the audience’s attention to <br />special features throughout the site. <br /> TASK ONE: Safety Assessment, Accessibility Assessment, and Project Kickoff and Visioning Meeting <br />TASK TWO: Plan Development + Engagement <br /> DELIVERABLES <br />• Meeting summaries <br />• Final documents to be provided in electronic format
