The fee <br />for a building permit is based on value plus a plan review fee and state surcharge. Since the <br />Minnesota Building Code only requires a permit for accessory buildings that are 200 square feet or <br />larger, the newly adopted Zoning Code now only requires a zoning permit for sheds or accessory <br />buildings that are under 200 square feet. Staff does still want to review a site plan and do an <br />inspection to make sure the building is meeting the location and setback requirements, so a new <br />zoning permit and fee is being added. <br /> <br />General Construction - Miscellaneous Permit Fees <br />Zoning Permit – Accessory <br />Buildings/Sheds under 200 square <br />feet <br />$50.00 <br /> <br /> <br />Park Facility Rental Fees <br />Staff is proposing a slight fee increase for shelter facility rental fees for Spooner Upper Shelter and <br />Pioneer Park. Additionally, an increase for the lower shelter to accommodate for the larger group sizes <br />with the new shelter that was installed. <br /> <br />Old Fire Hall - Staff is proposing to eliminate the daytime fee for Friday – Sunday and Holiday Rentals <br />since the Old Fire Hall has not been double booked in one day and has caused some confusion with <br />renters. This change would simplify the rental process and eliminate issues with groups staying past <br />their rental times. <br /> <br />Rental Fees – Old Fire Hall <br /> $350 deposit required <br />$100 – Monday - Thursday <br />$100 – 8am-6pm, Friday–Sunday & Holidays <br />$180 – 6pm-12am, Friday–Sunday & Holidays
