<br />She is highly skilled in engaging
<br />stakeholders and translating their
<br />input into a design that works.
<br />Maddie is dedicated to designing high-quality projects
<br />that reflect the unique needs of the local community and
<br />promote a positive, engaged process. Part landscape
<br />architect, part urban planner, and part community
<br />engagement enthusiast, Maddie’s creative approach to
<br />public engagement has led multiple communities to
<br />develop collaborative, community-based design solutions
<br />for parks and downtown improvement projects. With a
<br />special interest in active transportation, recreation, and
<br />healthy community design, she balances project-specific
<br />needs with bigger picture community goals. Maddie has
<br />specific project experience developing city-wide design
<br />strategies, planning for pedestrian-scale improvements,
<br />and creating master planning and guiding documents.

<br />Katherine will assist Josh and
<br />Maddie with design development
<br />and the public input process. She
<br />is adept at creating high-quality
<br />visuals which clearly communicate design
<br />concepts to project stakeholders.
<br />Katherine is experienced in all phases of park design, from
<br />concept development through final construction. She has
<br />facilitated community focus groups and design charrettes
<br />as a means of creating public spaces that are inviting
<br />and accessible to all people. Additionally, she is skilled
<br />at creating graphic renderings to depict the vision of a
<br />design and capture the project’s sense of place. Katherine
<br />is passionate about community engagement, sustainability,
<br />culturally relevant design, and practicing landscape
<br />architecture as a means of promoting public health and
<br />environmental equity.

<br />Project Engineer
<br />Eric will provide coordination and
<br />integration with city engineering
<br />staff for infrastructure needs,
<br />utility ratings, and ADA-related
<br />improvements.
<br />Working as a team with our clients to solve difficult
<br />problems is what drives Eric in his role as a project
<br />engineer. He ushers projects through conception,
<br />CIP budgeting, design, construction, and long-term
<br />maintenance. He is experienced with project management,
<br />schedule and budget management, construction
<br />management, right-of-way acquisition and management,
<br />utility coordination and permitting, state aid procedures
<br />and reporting, multi-agency coordination, asset
<br />management, and as-built drawing development. His
<br />prior experience working for a municipality helps him
<br />relate to our clients and deliver projects that meet their
<br />expectations.
