Chapter 915: General Development Requirements <br /> <br /> Page 915-3 <br />utilize either corrugated fiberglass or metal siding or roofing; shall be no higher <br />than 12 feet in height; shall be utilized solely for storage of materials and <br />equipment accessory to residential dwellings; and shall not be utilized for <br />shelter or accommodation for animals of any kind. <br />d. One detached garage as a second garage on the property, under the following <br />conditions: <br />1. The other garage structure is an attached garage. <br />2. The proposed detached garage meets all of the conditions of Section <br />915.020.B of this Code. <br />3. The total of all garage and accessory structure space on the property does <br />not exceed 1,000 square feet. <br />(2) Additional Detached Structures <br />Beyond the limitations of Section 915.020.D. and 915.020.E of this Code, the <br />construction of an additional garage structure, an additional accessory building, or <br />an additional garden shed shall require the processing of a Conditional Use Permit. <br />hen a Conditional Use Permit is issued to exceed 1,000 square feet of garage and <br />accessory building area, the parcel shall not be eligible for a detached garden shed <br />as otherwise permitted by Section 915.020.E.1.c of this code. Any existing such <br />sheds must be removed as a condition of the Conditional Use Permit. <br />(F) Outdoor swimming pools with a capacity of 1,500 gallons or with a depth of 3 feet or <br />more of water shall be fenced in compliance with the requirements under Chapter 915, <br />General Development Requirements, Fences. <br />(G) Every single family dwelling unit erected after the effective date of this Code shall be so <br />located on a lot that at least a 2 car garage, either attached or detached, can be located on <br />said lot. <br />(H) No accessory uses or equipment which generate noise such as air conditioning units or <br />condensers, generators, swimming pools, and the like shall be located in a required side <br />yard of a residential use or a use abutting a residential district. <br />(1) Little Free Library. A “Little Free Library” may be allowed in any front or side <br />yard but not in the public street right-of-way. <br /> <br />
