<br />Loss Resources with $1 Million in improvements to the facility to <br />accommodate 180 jobs. <br />▪ Twin Lake Blvd: The city is facilitating the process for a Rezoning and <br />Comprehensive Plan Amendment for the applicant, Reuter Walton, to <br />construct two three-story 60-unit buildings to accommodate multi-family <br />housing. The applicant will go for final approvals in April 2022. <br />▪ Heinel Property: The Heinel property is in the process of being purchased <br />by Lennar to develop 184 townhomes on the property. The city has held a <br />City Council Workshop, a neighborhood meeting, and city staff will be <br />facilitating a Preliminary/Final Plat, Rezoning, and possible variances with <br />the final design of the development. The applicant plans to break ground <br />in 2022 after approvals have been given. <br />▪ Sculley Property: Approximately 10 acres from 3000 Labore has been <br />acquired by Jonathan Homes to construct 15 single-family homes. <br />Approvals for Preliminary/Final Plat and Variances were approved by the <br />City Council in January 2022. The existing home was demolished and the <br />first home is under construction. The full build-out will occur over the <br />next two years. <br />▪ Villas of Lake Gervais: City staff has recently received a development <br />proposal for the 3.12 Acre Huot Property located on the west side of <br />Edgerton north of Little Canada Road. The proposal includes a single- <br />family subdivision of 11 parcels with a cul-de-sac. Additional planning <br />review will take place during the summer of 2022. <br /> <br />o Schedule ongoing meetings with surrounding agencies <br />▪ The City is partnering with the University of Minnesota RCP group to <br />research and recommend enhancements to our transportation accessibility. <br />▪ Staff has continued to schedule ongoing meetings and develop relationships <br />with surrounding agencies. Some examples of ongoing meetings include: <br />• Ramsey County Sheriff’s Department Contract Cities <br />• Metro I-Net Joint Powers Board <br />• NineNorth Contracted Cities City Managers Meeting <br />▪ The following are new partnerships with surrounding agencies: <br />• Metropolitan Council Livable Communities Program <br />• Association of Metropolitan Municipalities (Metro Cities) <br />• St. Paul Area Chamber of Commerce (SPACC) <br />• North Metro Mayors and City Administrators (Quarterly) <br />• ULI Regional Council of Mayors (Monthly) <br />• Economic Development Association of Minnesota (EDAM) <br /> <br />o Available Funds and Funding Opportunities <br />▪ Available fund balances were identified and explained during the budget <br />and CIP process in 2020 and 2021. <br />▪ American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds will be received in 2021 and <br />2022. If projects identified in the Strategic Plan are allowable uses of the <br />ARPA Funds, these funds may be used for these projects. <br />▪ Grant Funding: In addition to ARPA and CARES Act funding, the City of <br />Little Canada has been very successful in obtaining additional grant funding <br />for current or anticipated projects and has been awarded over $1 million in
