Lennar – Little Canada
Traffic Analysis
April 25, 2022
Page 16

The analysis results show that all intersections including the Centerville Road (CSAH 19) at
Vanderbie Street / Site access intersection would operate at overall LOS B during both the
weekday AM and PM peak hours. In addition, all movements during the AM and PM peak hours
would operate at a LOS B or better.

Like the No-Build conditions the maximum movement queues do not exceed the storage lengths
of the existing lanes at any of the intersections except for the eastbound Little Canada Road
(CSAH 21) approach to Centerville Road (CSAH 19) which could back up into the I -35E
northbound ramp intersection during only peak conditions.

Table 7 – 2025 Build Traffic Operations Summary
C = Overall LOS, (D) = Worst movement LOS Source: WSB & Associates, Inc.

2040 Build Condition

Table 8 – 2040 Build Traffic Operations shown below, summarizes the projected 2040 LOS
and delays at the primary intersections in the study area assuming the current lane geometry and
traffic control with the proposed Lennar residential development traffic added to the 20 40 No-
Build conditions.

The analysis results show that similar to the 2025 Build condition all intersections including the
Centerville Road (CSAH 19) at Vanderbie Street / Site access intersection would operate at
overall LOS B during both the weekday AM and PM peak hours. In addition, all movements
during the AM and PM peak hours would operate at a LOS B or better.

Like the No-Build and 2025 Build conditions the maximum movement queues do not exceed the
storage lengths of the existing lanes at either intersection except for the eastbound Little Canada
Road (CSAH 21) approach to Centerville Road (CSAH 19) which could back up into the I-35E
northbound ramp intersection during only peak conditions.

Control Intersection
AM Peak Hour PM Peak Hour
LOS Delay
(sec/veh) LOS Delay
(sec/veh) All-Way Stop Edgerton St (CSAH 58) at
Centerville Rd (CSAH 19 A (B) 7 (10) A (B) 8 (10) Thru-Stop Centerville Rd (CSAH 19) at
Vanderbie St / Site Access A (A) 1 (5) A (A) 2 (4) Signal Centerville Rd (CSAH 19) at
Little Canada Rd (CSAH 21) B (B) 10 (16) B (B) 10 (16)
