Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 2009-2-36 -APPROVING THE AMENDMENT TO THE GRABA DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT AS RECOMMENDED BY THE CITYADMINISTRATOR AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITYADMINISTRATOR TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. Ayes (4). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. COBBLESTONE The City Administrator reported that the City Engineer obtained bids VILLAGE for repair of a storm sewer within the Cobblestone Village property. This STORM repair work involves the replacement of storm sewer pipe by directional SEWER bore. The existing corrugated metal pipe has deteriorated and there is resulting significant REPAIR erosion. The Administrator explained the history of the storm sewer in PROJECT area, commenting that the City's former engineering firm should have identified this pipe and required its replacement at the time that the Cobblestone Village project was developed. The Administrator reviewed the bids received noting the significant difference between the low bid and the other four bids received. This difference has been discussed with the low bidder, who indicated his confidence in the bid calculation as submitted. Therefore, staff is recommending award of the low bid for the cobblestone Storm Repair Project. Mr. Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 2009-2-37 -AWARD OF THE LOW BID FOR THE COBBLESTONE STORM REPAIR PROJECT TO FRATTALONE COMPANIES, INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF $82, 734.50 AS RECOMMENDED BY THE CITY ENGINEER The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Keis. Ayes (4). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. 4
