MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />MARCH 25, 2009 <br />McGraw again noted that the prices will never be any lower. He also <br />noted that construction of a rural section road will cost property owners <br />more money in assessments. <br />Boss reported that she works for a construction company and felt that the <br />bids received for this work were very favorable. She also noted that it is <br />project like this that will help the economy. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOL UTION NO. 2009-3-67 -AWARDING THE BID OF T. A. <br />SCHIFSKY & SONS IN THEAMOUNT OF $1,535,000 FOR THE <br />RECONSTRUCTION OF THE FOLLOWING STREETS: <br />ELI ROAD AND DESOTO STREET (from Eli Road to LaBore <br />Road); <br />THUNDER BAYROAD; <br />LAKESIDE COURT (INCLUDING WATERMAIN) <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. <br />Ayes (4). <br />Nays (]) Keis. Resolution declared adopted. <br />RECESS At this point in the meeting, 8:42 p.m., the Council took a short recess. <br />The meeting was reconvened at 8:45 p.m. <br />REVOCATION Mayor Blesener opened the continuation of Public Hearing to consider <br />OF PUD the revocation of PUD Permits for outdoor storage issued to Temo <br />PERMITS - Sum•ooms due to code violations. <br />2905 COUNTRY <br />DRIVE - The City Administrator reported that most of the code violations have <br />TEMO been addressed. There is still the issue of the outdoor storage of the <br />SUNROOMS trash dumpster. The property owner has yet to move the dumpster <br /> indoors. The Administrator reviewed the Code Enforcement Officer's <br />report dated March 17, 2009 which outlines some options for the property <br />owner. One of these options would be for Temo Sunrooms to apply for a <br />PUD Amendment to construct a trash enclosure addition onto the existing <br />trash enclosure which is currently being used for storage. The <br />Administrator noted that it would not be necessary to put a roof on that <br />structure, but recommended that the construction materials used be <br />consistent with that of the building. <br />Mr. Bob Maietta, Temo Sunrooms, felt the option presented was doable <br />and stated that he could add some screening walls onto his building as a <br />trash enclosure.
