Ramsey County │ IMT Job Aids 4 <br />2.Emergency Operations Center (EOC) Director <br />RC PRIMARY: Emergency Management Director OR as Designated by County Incident Manager <br />RC ALTERNATE: Deputy Director OR as Designated by Primary <br />MUNI PRIMARY: Appointed <br />MUNI ALTERNATE: Appointed <br />SUPERVISOR: County Incident Manager <br />2.1 Role <br />Facilitate the overall functioning of the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) and coordination with other <br />agencies. <br />2.2 Responsibilities <br />•Make executive decisions and provide staff direction based on policy directives and established <br />operational priorities. <br />•Establish the appropriate level of organization, and continuously monitor the effectiveness of <br />that organization. Make changes as required. <br />•Support the development of rules, regulations, proclamations, and orders in coordination with <br />the Policy Group and County/Municipal Incident Manager. <br />•Exercise overall management responsibility for the support and coordination of the response <br />efforts within the affected area. <br />•In conjunction with the General Staff, set strategies for meeting operational priorities, and <br />ensure that all agency actions are accomplished in alignment with incident policies. <br />•Coordinate all visits to the EOC.
