Johnson <br />stated she would like to see organizations, such as the Girl <br />Scouts, be given recognition for their effort. Morelan <br />stated that the names of scouts are printed in the Le Petit <br />Canadien for recognition. Remerowski stated a thank you <br />letter/certificate would be appropriate. Johnson agreed. <br />Granley stated that the Community Pride Committee would like <br />to ask what the Parks & Recreation Commission's policy would <br />be on this, for future information. Christensen remarked <br />that situations differ, and the Parks & Recreation <br />Commission should not plant their feet in concrete on this. <br />Johnson stated if the Community Pride Committee would like <br />certain entities honored by way of a letter/certificate of <br />commendation, if other members of the Parks & Recreation <br />Commission agree, she would be happy to draft a thank you <br />letter. <br />Sanders stated that Arcade Street <br />lake will be improved.
