MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />APRIL 10, 2024 <br />There were no further comments from the public. Upon motion by D. Miller, seconded by T. Miller, <br />the public hearing was closed. Ayes (5). Nays (0). Motion adopted. <br />T. Miller introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOL UTION NO. 2024-4-40 —APPROVING A TWO PERCENT INCREASE ON THE <br />2024 ON -SALE LIQUOR LICENSE FEES, AND ADOPTING ORDINANCE 895 <br />AMENDING THE FEE SCHED ULE FOR ON -SALE LIQ UOR AND WINE LICENSES <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by D. Miller. <br />Ayes (5). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br />T. Miller introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOL UTION NO. 2 024-4-41— APPR O VING THE CONSENT A GENDA WHICH <br />CONTAINS THE FOLLOWING. <br />• Approval of the Vouchers <br />• Call for Additional Council Workshops <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Kwapick. <br />Ayes (5). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />STAFF REPORTS <br />AWARD BID FOR 2024 SANITARY SEWER REHABILITATION PROJECT <br />The Public Works Director explained tonight the Council is asked to consider the 2024 sanitary sewer <br />rehabilitation project, noting that this will be the third project of this nature for the City utilizing a <br />grant program through the Metropolitan Council for a portion of the funding. He reviewed the project <br />area and scope of the project. He stated that because they are using the water cure process, there was <br />only one bid received but staff is confident with the bid and contractor. He stated that <br />Mayor Fischer commented that the bid is close to the engineer's estimate and received confirmation <br />that even though there was only one bid, the City followed the competitive bid process. <br />Mayor Fischer introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOL UTION NO. 2 024-4-42 — A WARDING THE BASE BID IN THE AMOUNT OF <br />$310,505.13 TO INSITUFORM TECHNOLOGIES, USA, LLC <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by T. Miller. <br />Ayes (5). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />2 <br />
