<br /> <br />Current Haulers <br />Respondents were asked who they utilize for current haulers. Responses included: <br />• Republic Services (2) <br />• Waters Recycling and Refuse <br />• Waste Management <br />• Tennis Sanitation <br />• The Buckingham Companies <br /> <br />Optional Services Offered <br />Respondents were asked what services are currently offered as options as part of organized <br />collection and could select as many as applied. <br /> <br />Outside of refuse and recycling, 82% offer yard waste collection, 60% offer leaf pickup and <br />bulky item pickup, and 40% offer food scrap collection. <br /> <br /> <br />Primary Customer Service <br />Respondents were asked if primary customer service is done in-house or provided by the hauler. <br />20% responded the hauler provides customer service, 40% responded that customer service is <br />done in-house. 40% responded other, with the following comments: <br />• City is main contact for refuse and recycling account setup, billing, change in cart size <br />and general questions. hauler handles yard waste billing. missed pickups and bulk items <br />are sent to the hauler to arrange for collection. <br />• Customer service is mostly done in-house (this is not ideal) <br /> <br />In-house Customer Service <br />Those who responded they had in-house customer service (two) were asked which position is <br />responsible for customer service, and if the position is full-time. Responses include: <br />• Utility Billing Technician/Administrative Assistant <br />• We handle customer service through our utility billing customer service representatives. <br />We have two utility billing clerks and one utility billing coordinator (all full-time <br />positions) who take all of the calls. We bill for electric, water, sewer, garbage and <br />recycling. <br />• Both respondents outlined positions were full-time (40 hours per week)
