MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JUNE 249 2024 <br />A email from Beth Watrud was received and is attached to the minutes. <br />There were no further comments from the public. Upon motion by Kwapick, seconded by D. Miller, <br />the public hearing was closed. Ayes (5). Nays (0). Motion adopted. <br />Mayor Fischer recognized that there was debate over the number of homes that could be created, <br />noting that is a decision the property owner makes using the City guidelines. He stated that the City <br />guidelines allow for four lots. <br />Gutierrez recognized that these streets were recently redone and encouraged the builder to be cautious <br />of the new road conditions. <br />T. Miller introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Kwapick. <br />Ayes (5). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br />T. Miller introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />CONTAINS / / <br />• Approval of the Vouchers <br />• Approve Standard Measures for Cities Grant <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by D. Miller. <br />Ayes (5). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />STAFF REPORTS <br />AMENDMENT TO VILLAS OF GERVAIS LAKE DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT <br />The City Administrator explained tonight the Council is asked to consider a change to the <br />Development Agreement, changing the ownership from the current developer to the new owner. He <br />provided brief background on the history of the development proposal which was approved in 2023. <br />He noted that the amendment would also include a slight change to the grading plan, which also <br />triggered a review of the tree plan to ensure that neighboring trees would not be impacted. <br />D. Miller acknowledged that there was a lot of passion from the neighboring property owners related <br />to drainage concerns. He asked if those property owners have been consulted with this change. The <br />City Administrator commented that the most impacted resident was consulted. <br />3 <br />
