2601-2 <br />permits are issued. <br />The grantee of a permit shall not transfer or relinquish said permit to another person or <br />group of persons without the written permission of the City. <br />The City shall have the authority to revoke a permit upon evidence of good cause. <br />No person shall in any manner disturb, harass, or interfere with the grantee of a valid <br />permit, nor with any of the grantee's property or equipment. <br />Permits for shelter reservations shall be subject to the additional rules and guidelines as <br />referenced in the Park Shelter Rental Guidelines document. <br />2601.050. SPECIAL ACTIVITIES. <br />1.Swimming: No person shall bathe, wade or swim in any park except in such areas <br />specifically designated for such use. <br />2.Fishing: No person shall fish in a reckless or careless manner so as to create a <br />nuisance or to endanger the safety of said person, or other fishermen, or park users. <br />3.Winter Activities: Skating, sledding, cross-country skiing are permitted in parks in <br />such areas specifically designated for such use. <br />4.Motorized Recreational Vehicles: No person shall operate a motorized recreational <br />vehicle in any park, on any public trail, or lake surface under the jurisdiction of the <br />City, unless by permit or permission is granted by the City Administrator or his/her <br />designee. <br />5.Equestrian: No person shall ride or drive a horse in any park unless authorized by <br />the City. <br />6.Camping: No person shall establish or maintain any camp or other temporary <br />lodging or sleeping place in any park except by permit and then only in areas <br />specifically designated for such use. <br />2601.060. GENERAL CONDUCT. <br />1.Damage to Property: No person shall injure, damage, deface, destroy, diminish or <br />impair the value of any public or private property located within any public park in <br />the city, including, but not limited to, buildings, structures, signs, trees, shrubs, or <br />vegetation.
