MINUTES <br /> City Council <br /> (Cont'd.) <br /> January 9, 1980 <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Pers. Scalze. <br /> Ayes (4) Fahey, Scalze, DeBace, Hanson. <br /> Nayes (0). <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. b, Page 10. <br /> Park Gommission The vacancy on the Park Commission created by the expiration of <br /> <br /> Appointment Jean Donovan's term has been advertised on two occasions. Mrs. <br /> Donovan does not want to be considered for reappointment. Council <br /> has received one application for this position, and that application <br /> is from Dan Drake. <br /> P1r. Hanson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION N0. 80-1-23 - APPOINTIPIG MR. DAP! DRAKE <br /> TOTO <br /> TP~ACANCY ON THE PARK COMMISSIOiI TO SERVE A <br /> THREE-YEAR TERM, NAMELY, 1980, 1981, and 1982 <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Fahey. <br /> Ayes (4) Hanson, Fa'ney, Scalze, DeBace. <br /> Nayes (0 <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> This resolution appears in Resolution Book P1o. 6, Page 11. <br /> The Park Commission also has two other vacancies for three-year terms. <br /> These vacancies are caused by the terms of Richard Boss and Robert <br /> DeBace expiring on December 31, 1979. Mr. DeBace does not want to <br /> be considered for reappointment. Council does not know whether Mr. <br /> Boss would like to be considered for reappointment. <br /> Councilwoman Scalze suggested that when advertising these positions <br /> the advertisement should indicate that the Park Commission holds <br /> monthly meetings on the fourth Thursday of each month, however, in <br /> the summer months, the Park Commission sometimes meets weekly. <br /> Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION N0. 80-1-24 - CALLING FOR TI1E ADVERTISEMENT <br /> OF TAO PARK COt1MISSI0P1 VACANCIES EACH OF 41hiICH IS FOR <br /> TfIREE-YEAR TERP4S APlD DECLARIPJG THAT PARK COMMISSIOPJ <br /> MEETINGS ARE HELD THE FOURTH THURSDAY OF EACH PEON"fH AND <br /> IN SOP1E INSTFlNCES DURING THE SUMMER 'oIEEKLY <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by P1r.
