<br /> MINUTES <br /> City Council <br /> (Cont'd.) <br /> January 9, 19B0 <br /> Amending Mr. DeBace introd~.iced the following resolution and moved its adoptions <br /> The Agenda <br /> RESOLUTION N0. BO-•1-27 - AMENDING THE AGENDA <br /> TO HEAR ITEMS FROM TI-IE FLOOR <br /> The foregoing resolution was clu.ly seconded by Mrs. Scalze. <br /> Ayes (LS) DeBace, Scalze, Hanson, Fahey. <br /> Noyes (0). <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> This resolution appears in Resolution Bool< No. 6, Page 13. <br /> Vacation Of Mr. Bob Terrier appeared before the Council to request the vacat:ion <br /> Boss Road of Boss Road near his property. Council felt that if they considered <br /> vacating any portion of Boss Road, they should probably consider <br /> the whole of Boss Road. <br /> Councilman DeBace stated that he would contact the people in 'the <br /> area to see their feelings on the vacation of Boss Road and he would <br /> report back to the Council. <br /> Eli Nadeau There is a home on the Eli. Nadeau property that 'the fee owner is <br /> Property suggesting the Fire Department use for a drill. Carl Spooner suggested <br /> to the Council that perhaps the Fire Department is not interested in <br /> burning down this house. Mr. Spooner also stated that there are costs <br /> involved in burning down the house, and inquiried if the Fire Department <br /> was to burn the house, who would pick up the costs. <br /> Attorney Parks reported that Jim Nadeau, who is the executor of the <br /> estate which owns this house, has granted permission for the house <br /> to be disposed of. Mr. Schweitzer now has a letter giving him <br /> permission to do whatever he wants with the house. <br /> Parks further stated that he would talk to Mr. Schweitzer and inform <br /> him he must dispose of the house within a certain time limit. Parks <br /> will also inform Schweitzer to let the City know how he intends to <br /> dispose of the house. <br /> Planning Virginia Sykes congratulated the Council on bringing uniformity to <br /> Commission its appointment procedures. <br /> Terms <br /> Mrs. Sykes asked the Council how four of the vacancies to be fillcct <br /> on the Planning Commission can all be f'or three year terms. <br /> The Council thought this probably got out of order when the <br /> Planning Commission was made up of eleven members. The Council <br /> stated that they would get these back in sequence. Councilman Fahey <br /> and the City Clerk will work out this problem. <br /> Page -1~4- <br /> <br />
