Before the Council can call <br /> Improvement for a public hearing on the petition, the Engineer must establish. <br /> By Park the adequacy of the petition. <br /> Street <br /> Mr. Flanson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION N0. 80-3-120 - REFERRING THE PETITION FOR THE <br /> IMPROVEMENT BY PARK STREET CONNECTING COUNTY ROAD C AND <br /> DEMONT TO 7FIE CITY ENGINEER TO CHECK THE ADEQUACY OF THE <br /> PETITION <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. DeBace. <br /> ayes (5) Hanson, DeBace, Scalze, Fahey, Nadeau. <br /> Hayes (O). <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 6, Page 78. <br /> Bond Mayor Hanson reported to the Council that presently there are no bond <br /> Sales sales in the State of Minnesota. Therefore, any improvements the <br /> City might contemplate for this year will have to wait. <br /> Sinclair The Mayor stated that he will be checking with the Building Inspector <br /> Station to see if the Sinclair Station on Little Canada Road has paid a permit <br /> fee for their new sign. <br /> Canadian The City has received a letter from the Little Canada Canadian Days <br /> Days Committee requesting permission to use Spooner Park for the 1980 <br /> Use Of Canadian Days celebration. The festival is scheduled to be held on <br /> Spooner August 8, 9, and 10. <br /> Park <br /> Councilman Fahey stated that there may be a conflict with a kitten ball <br /> tournament that is scheduled by the Recreation Department. <br /> Mr. Fahey introduced 'the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION PIO. 80-3-121 - REFERRING THE LETTER FROM THE <br /> LITTLE CANADA CANADIAN DAYS COMMITTEE TO THE LITTLE CANADA <br /> RECREATION DIRECTOR TO COORDINATE THE USE OF SPOONER PARK <br /> FOR THE CANADIAN DAYS FESTIVAL <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Scalze. <br /> F~yes (5) Fahey, Scalze, DeBace, Flanson, Nadeau. <br /> Hayes (0). <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> This resolution appears in Resolution book No. 6, Page 78. <br /> Page -18- <br /> <br />
