<br /> MINUTES <br /> City Council <br /> (Cont'd.) <br /> March 12, 1980 <br /> Councilman Fahey suggested that the $1510.00 check be voided and <br /> another issued in the amount of $190.00. The additional $20.00 <br /> withheld would represent a 10% handling charge on behalf of the <br /> City for processing the building permit. <br /> Councilwoman Scalze stated that this 10% handling charge is a <br /> common figure used by other cities. <br /> Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION N0. 80-3-113 - DECLARING THAT THE ChIECK ISSUED <br /> FROM VOUCHER #16830 IN ThIE AMOUNT OF $1510.00 BE CANCELLED <br /> AND 7f•IAT MR. LeMAY BE REFUNDED $1490.00 FOR THE BUILDING <br /> PERMIT TFIAT MR. LeMAY IS RETURNING TO THE CITY, THE REFUND <br /> NOT INCLUDING THE $49.52 STATE SURCHARGE WHICFI CANNOT BE <br /> REFUNDED AND TFIE REFUND INCLUDING A 10% FIANDLING CFIARGE ON <br /> BEHALF OF THE CITY FOR PROCESSING ThiE BUILDING PERMIT <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Scalze. <br /> Ayes (5) Fahey, Scalze, DeBace, Nadeau, Hanson. <br /> Nayes (0). <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 6, Page 72. <br /> Ramsey Mayor Hanson reported that the City Clerk, Joe Chlebeck, will be the <br /> County City's delegate to the Ramsey County League. Mr. Hanson approached <br /> League the Planning Commission for interest in representing the City in <br /> this area, however, there was no interest from the Planning Commission. <br /> Amaro Mayor Hanson reported that Mr. Robert Amaro has taken all the necessary <br /> Barber's permits out for his new barber shop which will be located in the <br /> License Market Place. <br /> Remodeling There was no one present to submit plans to the Council 'for the <br /> Of Little remodeling of the Little Canada Service Station. Mrs. Scalze reported <br /> Canada that the Planning Commission tabled this item as there was no one <br /> Service present at their meeting, and suggested that the Council should table <br /> Station this item also. <br /> Councilman DeBace reported that the permits have been issued for this <br /> remodeling. The only changes will be in the exterior siding of the <br /> building and the remodeling of the interior office. There will be no <br /> structural changes. <br /> Council determined that the zoning of this property is highway commercial, <br /> and the service station with an office is a permitted use. <br /> Page -5- <br /> <br />
