<br /> MINUTES <br /> City Council <br /> (Cont.) <br /> April 9, 1980 <br /> Councilmen Fahey and DeBace suggested that both the Engineer and the <br /> Ati:orney review this program. <br /> Assessment Due to property divisions, the Engineer recommended the reapportionment. <br /> Reappor- of assessments for Division No. 055661 and Division No. 055656. <br /> tionment <br /> RESOLUTION N0. 80-4-147 - APPROVING TI-IE ASSESSMENT REAPPORTIONMENT <br /> OF DIVISION N0. 055661, THE MARIANA PROPERTY, AND DIVISION N0. <br /> 055656, THE FIELD PROPERTY <br /> 'f he foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Nadeau. <br /> Ayes (5) Fahey, Nadeau, Hanson, DeOace, Scalze. <br /> Noyes (0). <br /> Resolution cleelarecl adopted. <br /> This resolution appears i.n Resolution Dook No. 6, Paye 95. <br /> Petition The Engineer reported that the petition for the improvement by Park <br /> For Street was not sufficient. It is not signed by 3540 of the involved <br /> Park property owners. <br /> Street <br /> The City Clerk reported that this petition has been called for on <br /> three other occasions and each time it has been turned down. <br /> Mayor Hanson reminded everyone that there are no bond sales in the <br /> State of Minnesota at the present time. <br /> Councilman Fahey suggested that the City Clerk write a letter to <br /> those petitioning for Park Street and inform them that the petition <br /> is inadequate and that there is no funding available at this time. <br /> Thomas The Engineer reported that Mr. Thomas of Dianna Lane has submitted <br /> Claim a bill for damages to Fiis .lift station. The Engineer reported that the <br /> sewer was accepted at the time the damagss occurred. Mr. Carley <br /> recommended the City pay the claim. <br /> Councilman Fahey suggested the claim be turnecJ into the City's <br /> insurance company. <br /> Centennial The Engineer reported that Centennial Construction woulrJ be receiving <br /> Construction their. final payment in the amount of $19000.00. They would also <br /> be receiving payment in the amount of X900.00 for soil tests they did. <br /> They were originally requesting $1,700.00 for the soil tests, but the <br /> City settled with them for X900.00 for the tests. They apparently were <br /> trying to bi7.l for tests they tried to do, but which failed. The City <br /> did not feel they should have to pay for these tests. <br /> Page -10- <br /> <br />
