<br /> MINUTES <br /> City Council <br /> (Cont.) <br /> April 9, 1980 <br /> Payment To Councilman DeBace pointed out that the Bohmer Building Company is <br /> Bohmer requesting payment for $3,400.00. DeBace asked the Engineer if this <br /> Building amount covered the work that had already been done. The Engineer <br /> Company stated that the $3,400.00 would cover the stored materials and the <br /> work presently completed. <br /> Cleaning The Engineer reported that it would cost approximately $2,100.00 to <br /> Of Ditch clean the ditch running through the Saiko property from the trailer <br /> Through court to Demont Avenue. <br /> Saiko <br /> Property Councilman DeBace stated that he felt the ditch should be cleaned. <br /> DeBace also asked that bids received for the work be shown to the <br /> Council for review. <br /> Mr. DeBace introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION N0. 80-4-148 - AUTHORIZING THE CALLING FOR <br /> INFORMAL QUOTATIONS FOR CLEANING THE DITCH RUNNING THROUGFI <br /> THE SAIKO PROPERTY FROM THE TRAILER COURT TO DEMONT AVENUE <br /> AND REQUIRING THAT THESE BIDS BE SUBMITTED TO THE COUNCIL <br /> FOR REVIEbI <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Hanson. <br /> f{yes (5) DeBace, Hanson, Fahey, Nadeau, Scalze. <br /> Nayes (O). <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 6, Pages 95 and 96. <br /> Payne Councilman Fahey informed the Engineer that he would like to see the <br /> Avenue soil tests that are done on Payne Avenue. <br /> Street The City Clerk reported that the street map developed for the area <br /> Map of Payne Avenue and the Jespersen property has been adopted. Councilwoman <br /> Area Of Scalze suggested that this map be used if any other property owners in <br /> Payne Ave. this area come before the Council with property divisions. <br /> Sheriff's Mayor Hanson reported that there will be a meeting on April 17 regarding <br /> Contract the Ramsey County Sheriff's contract. Mr. Hanson stated that he and the <br /> Meeting City Clerk will be attending the meeting. There will be other mayors <br /> from surrounding communities in attendance at the meeting. <br /> Mayor Hanson stated that it appears the Sheriff's Department wants <br /> the cities it services to pay more money for less police protection. <br /> Mayor Hanson also reported that the Sheriff's Department has requested <br /> that it be notified of any licenses for auto repair shops that come <br /> up for renewal. The Sheriff's Department would like to inspect the <br /> shops before the license is renewed. <br /> Page -11- <br /> <br />
