Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 80-4-155 - AUTHORIZING THE PARI< COMMISSION TO ADVERTISE FOR INFORMAL QUOTATIONS FOR BENCHES FOR THE TENNIS COURTS AND TREES FOR TI1E AMPHITHEATRE AREA IN SPOONER PARK The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Hanson. Recreation Councilwoman Scalze reported that the Recreation Department is having Programs trouble getting notices of the Recreation programs to the children living in the apartments. hiayor Hanson suggested that the Recreation Department mail notices to these people using a bulk mail rate. Lawcon The City has received application forms from the Metropolitan Council Grant for applying for Lawcon grants. Applications for the grant must be in by May 2, 1980. Mr. DeBace introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 80-4-156 -APPROVING TfiE APPLICATION BY THE CITY FORA LAWCON GRANT The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Scalze. Professional Councilman Fahey reported that Northwest Associated Consultants has Planning submitted for approval a Professional Planning Services Contract. Services Fahey stated that the Attorney has reviewed the contract and has Contract found it to be in proper form. Fahey stated that there are no time restrictions in our Ordinance for the Assistant Zoning Administrator position. The position is on a case-by-case basis. Page -16-
