<br /> MINUTES <br /> City Council <br /> (Cont.) <br /> May 14, 1980 <br /> Sewer & Councilman DeBace reported that Harry Rondeau will be building a home <br /> Water on Jackson Street. Mr. Rondeau has requested permission to hook up <br /> Improvement to the end of the City's sewer and water lines. Councilman DeBace <br /> Hearing stated that he knows o~F two other residents of that area who would <br /> Jackson like sewer and water. DeBace suggested that the Council initiate a <br /> Street hearing for the purpose of discussing putting in sewer and water on <br /> Jackson Street from LaBore. <br /> Councilman Fahey stated that if the Council initiates the hearing, he <br /> would only be in favor of the improvement if the City received the <br /> easements at no cost. <br /> Mayor Flanson suggested that the people interested in the improvement <br /> should petition for it. DeBace commented that by the Council initiating <br /> the hearing it would speed things up a month. <br /> Councilwoman Scalze stated that the City did not initiate a public <br /> hearing on the Park Street improvement when it received an inadequate <br /> petition for the improvement. <br /> Mr. DeBace introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION N0. 80-5-175 - CALLING A PUBLIC FIEARING FOR <br /> TFIE PURPOSE OF DISCUSSING TFIE IMPROVEP1ENT OF JACKSON STREET <br /> FROM LaBORE ROAD TO THE END OF JACKSON BY SEWER AND WATER, <br /> THE FIEARING TO BE HELD ON JUNE 11, 1980 <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Hanson. <br /> Ayes (4) DeBace, Hanson, Nadeau, Fahey. <br /> Nayes (1) Scalze. <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 6, Pages 113 and 114. <br /> Payne Avenue The Engineer reported that the curbs are in for Payne Avenue. <br /> Market Place Councilman Fahey reported that the road by the Market Place is breaking <br /> apart. Councilman DeBace stated that this is a private road, that the <br /> City has not accepted it. <br /> Assessment The City Clerk reported that the Engineer should be authorized to <br /> Report prepare an assessment report for all improvement 'to be assessed in 1980. <br /> The Clerk reported that all deferred assessments will be reviewed in <br /> August. <br /> The Clerk also reported that the City will also need a property <br /> valuation report. <br /> Mr. Flanson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> Page -11- <br /> <br />
