<br /> P1INUTES <br /> ity Cpun~il <br /> Cont.) <br /> May 14, 1980 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 80-5-176 - AUTHORIZING THE CITY ENGINEER <br /> TO PREPARE AN ASSESSMENT REPORT FOR ALL IMPROVEMENTS TO <br /> BE ASSESSED IN 1980 <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Nadeau. <br /> Ayes (5) Hanson, Nadeau, De¢ace, Fahey, Scalze. <br /> Nayes (0). <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 6, Page 114. <br /> Traffic The City Clerk reported that it is necessary 'to authorize the County to <br /> Counts take traffic counts in the City so that the City can receive State aid <br /> money. <br /> Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION N0. 80-5-177 - AUTHORIZING THE COUNTY TO <br /> TAKE TRAFFIC COUNTS <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Fahey. <br /> Ayes (5) Scalze, Fahey, DeBace, Nadeau, Hanson. <br /> Nayes (0). <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 6, Page 114. <br /> Land Fill Mayor Hanson reported that the City is having problems with the Land <br /> Ordinance Fill Ordinance. <br /> The Attorney stated that the Council talked about amending the Ordinance <br /> two years ago and providing fora minimum amount of filling that could <br /> be done without a permit, and also changing the permit fee to $100.00. <br /> This was never followed through. Parks stated that he feels the Council <br /> was on the right track at this time, and that the Council should now <br /> amend and update the Ordinance. Parks suggested that he get a model <br /> ordinance from the League of Cities for the Council to review. Fle will <br /> also try to find the proposed ordinance of a couple of years ago for <br /> the Council to look over. <br /> Sheriff's Mayor Hanson reported that the City Clerk will be attending a meeting on <br /> Proposed 'the Sheriff's proposed noise ordinance which will be held tomorrow. <br /> Noise <br /> Ordinance <br /> Police The Mayor pointed out to Council the correspondence they received on the <br /> Car change in the car allowance for the Ramsey County Sheriff's Department <br /> Allowance police cars. <br /> PCA Reports The City Clerk reported that for Council's information several PCA <br /> reports have been included in the agenda. The PCA will be following up <br /> on the recommendations they made to the various parties involved. <br /> Page -12- <br /> <br />
